People coming to stay

I’ve had quite a few friends and family talk seriously about coming to stay over the next few months. Far from being a lonely retreat where I lock myself in a room and work on my masterplan, I may spend the summer entertaining.

Of course, this would be great, as I am excited to share my new location with friends. It’s like my mum when she retired - she suddenly seemed to become much busier than before. I have really done very little entertaining while I’ve lived in London. It will be a new thing for me to have people to stay or to be hosting a visit even if people are staying somewhere else (I don’t have much room to put people up). I am looking forward to it - it chimes well with my desire to have more of a ‘live and let live’ attitude towards life.
